Amigo belongs to a friendly tribe of winged devils who have the nose of a
hippopotamus and speak a strange language. The Amigos live on a flying
island, a little paradise with gently flowing waterfalls, where the
ground is covered with fine sand, the trees look like coconut palms and
the houses are round and soft like fat barrels with thatched roofs. And
above all, the air is warm, the sun shines and the birds chirp. However,
Amigos, who are herbivorous, have to go further and further afield to
find their food because it is getting scarce. And further on, that is
where the land of darkness begins...
