About the official site

• This website is what remains of the original official website "heartofdarkness.com" that was available on the internet from 1997-2006.
• The website is not currently run or owned by the creators of the game, and is therefor not truly official anymore, however it contains original content from the official site from the past.

Who runs the site now?

• The site is run by a fan of Heart of Darkness who is from Canada, named Pip.
• Pip brought back the site to display love for the game, and appreciation to its creators.

What can be found on the site?

• Original features from the site including PC demos and character design sheets can be found on this website.
• New content has also been added such as a forum for fans to talk about the game.

What languages will the site be available in?

• The site was originally in French, English, and German.
• However, that part of the site needs a lot of work. The site is currently only complete in English. We are looking for translators for German and French. We plan to translate the site into Spanish as well.

The site doesn't look quite like how I remember it.

Unfortunately, the nature of the archive service that allowed the site to be saved originally was not perfect in it's job..
• Multiple pages, images, and such are missing from the site because they were not saved properly before the site went down in 2006.
  
• However we are looking to replace missing files so feel free to drop us a tip to help the site.
